Fused cast high zirconia block is an important refractory in glass industrial, it can be used in a wide range of glass furnace, especially high quality and special glass furnace such as TVglass, Borosilicate glass, Alumina silicate glass, Halogen lighting glass, Opal glass and Fiber galss, and it mainly used for glass sidewall, throat, electrodes brick and the weir block, etc.
Fused cast high zirconia block is made of artificial synthesis of high pure raw material, which is through special casting process by melting the raw material in the mold at temperatures in excess of 2700°C in an electric arc furnace, then through cooling and solidification. The crystalline texture is consisting of baddeleyite and ZrO2 which is more than 89%.
With the special chemical composition, produced method, and stable property of zirconia , fused cast high zirconia block has the excellent features of low blister and stoing potential, low thermal conductivity, dense structure, high temperature resistance, high abrasion resistance, strong corrosion resistance and especially very low pollution to glass liquid which means it nealy has no pollution to the liquid glass.
